Since 2023, we have been a trusted legal service for real estate transactions across Ontario, helping the next generation of Canadians navigate an exciting milestone; home ownership. We’re proud to provide a straightforward, transparent approach to buying or selling a home. Navigating home purchases and sales can be convoluted and confusing, but it doesn’t have to be. And with Ownright, it isn’t. Our rebrand is more than just a name change. It’s a significant step in our evolution to become Ontario’s most trusted and efficient real estate legal service.
Why switch things up?
We’ve grown rapidly over the last two years and we’re here for the long haul. Since launching in 2023, we’ve processed over $750 million CAD in transactions across Ontario. We are expected to surpass the $1 billion CAD mark by the end of 2025.
Driving this transformation was the desire to better connect with the modern homeowner. Our rebrand more clearly communicates what we do. There’s no confusion — the name says it all. Plus, the thoughtful new design creates a better client experience.

New seed funding
As if a complete rebrand wasn’t exciting enough, we’re also thrilled to announce we’ve successfully secured a $4.5 million CAD seed funding round. Led by Alate and Relay Ventures, this latest investment will expedite growth, expand automation capabilities, and enhance the client experience. This will solidify Ownright’s position as the go-to legal solution for homebuyers and sellers all across Ontario.
